Immunohistochemistry Lead · PathNet · Little Rock, Arkansas

Lead immunohistochemistry operations in a high-volume anatomic pathology laboratory, combining staff oversight, validation work, troubleshooting, and process improvement within a 350–450 block/day environment.

  • Provide daily operational oversight for 11 histology personnel and serve as the primary escalation point for technical, workflow, and personnel issues.
  • Lead validation and implementation of new IHC assays, including vendor assays and laboratory-developed tests requiring titration and optimization.
  • Maintain IHC quality systems including reagent tracking, lot-to-lot verification, and supporting documentation.
  • Played a key role in a full laboratory relocation with zero business-day downtime.
  • Apply Python, SQL, and Tableau skills to evaluate operational data, reagent utilization, and efficiency opportunities.
